The Site
My friends have all been begging me to start a blog for a while and I have finally done it (it’s the yeast I could do)! I hope to fill your stomachs and heads with yummy pictures, recipes, and knowledge! I am a bakist by trade, but I promise to throw in the occasional recipe for some more savory foods (I am quite famous for my spinach artichoke dip).
I will definitely sprinkle in some of my environmental ideals throughout the blog. So, if a few of my more sinful recipes make a you a little unhealthy, at least we are keeping the Earth healthy!
I hope that you can find as much inspiration in the kitchen from my posts and recipes as I have from others!
The Busty Bakist Herself
Dorky environmental scientist by day and busty bakist by night. I am in my 20′s and live right outside the wonderful city of New York. I enjoy swimming/water polo, reading, cooking/baking/eating, and general debauchery.
I have zero formal training in baking, cooking, photography or writing(please excuse my grammar now). My passion for baking did not rise like most. I was lucky enough to join the most wonderful water polo team and all of our funding came from bake sales (so we had a lot of them). Slowly but surely, I realized that my bread and butter was bread and butter! Then the obsession was born.
